Vivek Patel

Vivek is an Indian contemporary abstract artist and the founder of Baroda Atelier, a studio practice developed around disciplined geometry, spatial balance, and silent emotional architecture. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, his practice explores the relationship between structure and emptiness — where lines become systems, interruptions become memory, and negative space carries emotional weight. Influenced by architectural rhythm, urban mapping, minimalism, and modernist abstraction, Vivek creates works that appear mathematically controlled yet psychologically alive. His compositions are built through grids, directional tensions, intersecting pathways, and carefully positioned voids, often anchored by a singular gold element symbolizing consciousness, value, or human presence within constructed systems.
Through Baroda Atelier, Vivek is developing a globally recognizable Indian contemporary abstraction movement rooted in precision, silence, and power.
